- OSMECON 2024 was held under the theme "Designing Future Healthcare." Distinguished cardiologist and former Care Hospitals chairman Dr. B. Somaraju inaugurated the 14th edition. His address explored multidisciplinary medicine and its connections with quantum physics, molecular biology, and genetics.

- Dr. A. V. Gurava Reddy, one of India's leading orthopaedic surgeons, delivered the guest lecture and enriched the academic programme.

- The programme featured 13 workshops, including the new Synergy in Diagnosis workshop. It connected pathology and microbiology to strengthen clinical diagnostic reasoning through practical learning.

- Four active events - Case Presentation, Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, and Medical Symposium - drew strong competition. Poster themes explored Transhumans and the Iceberg Phenomenon.

- Eleven passive events included MedQuiz, Dare to Diagnose, Graphilia, Invictus, Art Attack, Shuttermedics, and Med Imposter, which gave a medical twist to the popular Among Us format.

- With 3,200 delegates in attendance, OSMECON 2024 reached its highest participation to date.
